Two lane wooden overpass - HOMonroe Models County Road Bridge is a model of a two lane bridge over the Great Northern Railway near Willmar. Similar wooden trestle style overpasses were common all along the GN from 1900 or so, to and beyond the merger. Beginning in the 1950s, wooden road bridges were replaced with concrete and steel structures. This will be an impressive structure on your railroad. It is tall enough to clear double stack equipment and wide enough for two tracks.

This model includes a small office space where the Section Foreman can do his paper work

but more the history of a business that the Hills were forced to create due to the Hepburn Act

The new 46-foot-long freight and baggage room on the east end of the building was built with used lumber from the former eating house at Gold Bar
